It is true that you can “test out,” of an objective exam, which are proctored of course, but by “test out,” they mean, you take the exam, and you get a B or better, and then you have passed. That said, there is no way to test out of the essays, and there is not an insignificant amount of them, at least at the graduate level. I am on schedule for over 200 pages worth of writing by the end of this academic year. Which is the main reason I decided to go to school there. Good practice.

I’m not sure if it’s fair to say that Western Governors University has a traditional MBA program, as while the core Business stuff is definitely covered, there is a strong leadership bent as well.

So far, if I had to do it over again, I would not have changed a thing of significance, but then again, it has always been my plan to get at least two masters’ degrees
